The FCAT Parent Network allows parents/guardians to access thier student's FCAT scores using a login and password they will receive from thier student's home school. Parents/Guardians can view the PDF document for information on the FCAT Parent Network and access the website through the web address.

The primary function of the public schools is to provide an equal educational opportunity for all students. The Florida Comprehensive Assessment Test (FCAT) is part of Florida's overall plan to increase student achievement by implementing higher standards. The FCAT, administered to students in Grades 3-11, contains two basic components: criterion-referenced tests (CRT), measuring selected benchmarks in Mathematics, Reading, Science, and Writing from the Sunshine State Standards (SSS); and norm-referenced tests (NRT) in Reading and Mathematics, measuring individual student performance against national norms.

Florida's NCLB School Public Accountability Reports have been generated to comply with federal NCLB legislation that requires annual report cards on the educational progress of schools, school districts, and the state. These reports are initially published prior to the beginning of the school year.

Students and parents can view this site for alternative educational choices. They can contact the guidance department of their school for more information. This is an alternative solution for student in a home school environment. Parents can contact the Calhoun County School Board office for more information.
